Ikeast võib leida huvitavaid asju. Meie külaliste toa seina ilmestamiseks ostsime sealt armsad paspartuuga graafilised posterid .

You can find some interesting things from Ikea. Our guest room wall needed a little bit of life, so we bought cute graphic posters with passe-partout . What I missed were picture frames. As our next guest was arriving in a few days I had to use my imagination.
We have a nice batch of cardboard in our garage. From this pile I found nice-sized pieces which I used to cut out the front of the frame and the rear board. For calculating the measurements of the frame I added 1 cm to the measurements of poster (each side). So the outside dimensions of the cardboard frame and rear board were 1 cm bigger than poster. The frame width was 3 cm. I cut out the shape from the center of the cardboard with the craft knife.
Next I covered frame with Gesso (which I immediately dried with a hairdryer) Then overdyed primed frames with golden acrylic and spray paint. Again I used hairdryer to dry my work quicker. Finally, I covered the outer edge of frame (unpainted side) with glue (1 cm wide), and glued it onto the cardboard base. It left enough space to be able to push the pictures into the frame.
Pictures in frame, I put all my works under the pressure (all night), so they would not bend during drying.
